With 90% of women complaining about stubborn cellulite in the buttocks area, there is a high demand for a solution. QWO is the first FDA-approved, non-invasive injectable used to treat moderate to severe cellulite. Dr. Parker is excited to offer this innovative treatment as part of his commitment to advancing cutting-edge cosmetic science in the Las Vegas community and beyond.
If you have noticed dimpled skin in the buttocks, then you may be quite familiar with cellulite. Cellulite forms when the fibrous bands connecting the underlying muscles with the top skin layers thicken and get pulled taut, causing fat pockets to appear at the surface. QWO is the first injectable on the market to treat this condition non-surgically.
The significant ingredients in QWO are collagenase enzymes that target and break down the collagen-rich fibrous bands responsible for cellulite formation. After the bands, also known as fibrous septae, are structurally decimated, the fat cells are redistributed and new collagen growth is stimulated; thus causing a reduction in cellulite dimpling in the buttocks of women.
QWO is indicated for those clients who struggle with moderate to severe cellulite dimpling in the buttocks. Typically these candidates have attempted to improve their skin tone through dieting and exercise but have obtained little relief using these methods. Clients with skin laxity may have better results with a skin tightening treatment rather than QWO. Dr. Parker and his team will assess your unique situation during your private Las Vegas consultation.
QWO is the first and only FDA-approved injectable for the treatment of moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women.
Enzymes called collagenases target the structural causes under the skin, where cellulite starts. It’s thought that QWO works by releasing fibrous bands, redistributing fat cells, and stimulating the growth of new collagen. How QWO works in moderate to severe cellulite is not fully understood.
No. QWO is an injectable treatment option that is thought to target a primary structural cause of cellulite— the fibrous septae. The exact mechanism for the treatment of moderate to severe cellulite is unknown.
Your doctor will determine if you are an appropriate candidate for QWO.
QWO is only approved for treatment of moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women. Endo Aesthetics is continuing to investigate additional areas of treatment.
